FAQ
When Can I Book?
I am almost always booking tattoos, so I don’t really announce when my books are “open”, only if they are closed for some reason. If they are closed, it will definitely be in my Instagram bio. I generally only book out a couple of months ahead of time in my current home city, and may be booking further out if I have a guest spot in another city or country in the near future.
How Do I Book an Appointment to Get a Tattoo?

Do You Do Custom Commissions?
Short answer: Yes!
Long answer: I LOVE taking on custom tattoo projects that are suitable for me style/ concept / design-wise, but I do not accept all custom commission ideas…
DM me on Instagram or send me an email at holyghosttat2@gmail.com if you think you have an idea I can do justice to— I would love to hear it!
If I don’t think the project is a good fit for me personally I will let you know. Please don’t be offended or discouraged— a custom idea that I don’t think I can execute well can be tattooed beautifully by another artist.
What Is a “Flash” Tattoo?
“Flash” refers to tattoo designs that are pre-drawn by me, ready to be tattooed as-is!
Most flash is only tattooed once, but you will see some labeled “repeatable”, meaning I am happy to tattoo the same design as-is multiple times. If you see a design that you are interested in that has been crossed out or already tattooed, in most cases I am happy to make a modified version of it (with just a few small changes to make it unique)— just ask!
Flash designs can be reserved ahead of your appointment time once I receive a deposit. In the case of no-show or cancelled appointments, the deposit is forfeited and the reserved flash will become available again.
You can see my available flash designs on my “Flash” Instagram highlight.
How are Tattoos Priced?
I generally price tattoo designs individually as opposed to charging an hourly rate. For most tattoos, I charge on a sliding scale system (more info on the sliding scale system can be found on my Instagram “FAQ” highlight). This is usually a $50 range (example: $120-170, $250-300). It can vary a bit based on complexity and placement, but a 3”x3” tattoo will usually cost somewhere around $250. My minimum is $130.
I almost always go over prices ahead of appointments, because people can have hugely different expectations for what tattoos cost.
Please don’t feel weird for asking how much something will cost— it’s good for us to be on the same page. If you have a budget you’d like to work within let’s talk about it! If it’s close to the amount I would charge anyways I am usually very willing to negotiate with you.
Do I Need to Send a Deposit in Order to Book a Tattoo?
You must send a non-refundable deposit in order to book an appointment. Deposits are usually $100 and can go towards the total for the tattoo. I can take deposits via Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal. I will send the deposit info to you when I get back to your initial inquiry about booking an appointment.
What If I Can’t Make it to My Tattoo Appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule I completely understand— no hard feelings!
That being said, I often can’t fill last minute cancellations, which is why you will not get your deposit back (in most cases). Deposits are necessary for me to protect my time as an artist. If you cancel your appointment, no-show, or get your deposit returned (in rare cases), you forfeit your hold on the design as well as the appointment.
If you think you’ll be significantly late (10 min or more), please just send me a message !
If you no-call no-show : you will be blacklisted and I will not tattoo you in the future.
It’s ALWAYS better to send a message (even if it’s 10 min after the appointment start time) than ghosting.
How Long Will it Take For My New Tattoo to Heal?
The healing process for a tattoo is about 3 weeks - during which time I do not recommend swimming or exposing your new tattoo to extreme conditions. Aftercare procedures will be discussed in detail at the time of your appointment.
